Project Boribo has reached approximately 300 community members through World Vision Cambodia's Rolea Bier Area Programme and Kampong Svay Area Programme, engaging both students and teachers. The project delivers life skills and vocational IT training to equip students with practical abilities, while also providing financial literacy classes that empower the broader community with essential knowledge for making informed financial decisions.
Through interactive workshops and hands-on training sessions, participants develop digital literacy skills that are increasingly vital in today's economy, while financial literacy components help families better manage resources and plan for their futures. By working directly with local teachers, the project also builds sustainable capacity within the community, ensuring that knowledge and skills can continue to be shared even after the programme concludes.
This project is supported by Ruth Chiang Overseas Community Service Grant and Youth Expedition Projection (YEP) Grant by Youth Corps Singapore (YCS).
